Student Care & Support at Clayton State exists to help students overcome personal challenges that can impact their academic success and well-being. Our team of caring, non-clinical case managers works one-on-one with students to provide guidance, advocacy, and connections to both campus and community resources. Whether you're experiencing housing or food insecurity, navigating a family emergency, or facing other life disruptions, we are here to support you every step of the way and help you stay on the path to graduation. Our work is rooted in advocacy, empowerment, and collaboration—because we believe that no student should have to face difficulties alone. If you or someone you know needs support, Fill out the Student Care Referral Form or reach out to us at CSUCares@clayton.edu or (678)466-5445. The team reviews every report quickly and connects students to helpful resources. Please note: Student Care & Support is not a provider of mental health services. For clinical support, including counseling and therapy, students are encouraged to contact the Health & Wellness Center, which offers comprehensive mental health services for Clayton State students.
How it works
We created BestFit to help busy individuals get the help they need in less time, and with less headache: - First, we screen your eligibility for multiple programs in one go, which means you can determine your eligibility for 5 different federal benefits in less than 10-minutes. - After you’ve completed the form, BestFit returns your personalized results. This includes a list of programs you should apply for, an estimate of how much money you’re eligible for, and important next steps. - Once you decide to apply, create an account and BestFit is here to guide you through all the required steps.
